Dream Weavers

Dream Weavers Community Film Program is a hands-on collaborative community film making initiative which engages seniors, youth, newcomers and other community members, with no or minimal experience in filmmaking, to come together as a community in teams to learn, co-create, produce and present new cinematic works in the form of short films to share their stories, and define and celebrate their neighbourhoods, generating a dynamic exchange of creative ideas, validating the lived experience of community members and engendering a sense of belonging and sharing a collective vision with the wider community. The films created under this project are celebrated and shared with the wider community via a public exhibition using multiple-platforms.
